M.A.D. FOOTBALL UPDATE

(Make a Difference)

MAD football is a group of football coaches volunteering their time to help kids get better. With their efforts, and donations from the corporate community and the Maine Chapter NFF, we can offer these opportunities and a very reasonable price. We have college coaches from all over NE coming to Maine to help our kids get better. The attached documents include a tentative list of our events and registration info for the Run to the Ball series to be held in Lewiston/Auburn

Are you the type of player who plays hard every snap? Runs to the ball every snap with a passion to make a play? Are you willing to sacrifice for your teammate so he makes a play?
Truly want to be coached hard and get better
THIS PROGRAM IS FOR YOU.

M.A.D football is a great opportunity to become a better football player. Block destruction, leveraging the ball, and tackling are universal skills used in over 65% of all snaps in a football game. In a small group structure, players will learn these skills and how to play the game safely. A group of current and former high school and college coaches are going to volunteer their time to help players because of their love of the game. ALL proceeds will go to the Maine Football Coaches Association, Maine Chapter of the National Football Foundation, and the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl. Coaches donating their time will allow us to offer this program and a very low cost. Players are not only getting players, but their fee helps with coaching education programs as well as kids that are less fortunate than themselves (Make a Difference)
Sessions will be offered in 1 ½ hour blocks. No equipment is required. A mouth piece and cleats are recommended. At this point, all clinics will be held in the Lewiston/Auburn area. Our plan for this year is to expand the program into both the Augusta and Bangor areas. Programs are designed for players grade 7-12
We will also be offering a 3 day program designed for all defensive positions in late June.
Blocking Destruction/Leverage the ball/tackling will also be a big focus

Further information and registration information will be coming out in the near future
