Good Afternoon all,
I hope this finds you all well!
On behalf of our Association President, Matt Perkins, and the Executive Committee, it is my honor to invite you to the 2023 Maine Football Coaches Association Coaches Clinic. We are ecstatic to be able to offer our clinic again this year!
We will convene on Friday, March 10, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. It will be a one-day clinic beginning with registration at 9 a.m., and speakers starting at 10 a.m.. We will have rooms for speakers on 11-man, 8-man, and youth football. We will have an area for break out sessions and we will have vendors on hand. Our annual busineess meeting, including our presentation of our Michael Haley Coach of the Year Awards will happen in the afternoon. There will be an opportunity to hear about the rule changes for the upcoming season, and we will be soliciting feedback on how we can continue to improve our clinic. We will finish the evening with our annual social that night. A detailed schedule will follow soon.
Please spread the word to your youth and volunteer coaches. We want as many coaches at this clinic as we can get. The speaker list is great (Thanks Coach Capone!) and there will be something for all to learn regardless of level! This type of professional development is great for all of us, and is especially beneficial for our players!
The registration form is attached. Please feel free to send those in now, as it will save us all time on Friday, the 10th!
If you have any questions, please reach out, and stay tuned for the detailed itinerary in the coming days!
Thank you for all you do for the great game of football! We appreciate you.
Dan
